Forums of any kind are a hit with users online. Credit forums especially are extremely useful because not only do they put light on your ignorance but you get to discuss similar problems with other forum members.

A credit forum is an online discussion portal where once you register you can get a way to all your credit problems. Credit is becoming a more and more used expression today. It affects all parts of our lives and is essential in realizing our dreams. Till now the working of credit related institutions and the structure of credit was all closed up behind doors. No one really understood what it was all about and an attempt to figure it out was cut short by various jargons. It is then that people started forums online, so they could get together, ask queries, get answers, share experiences and follow updated developments. This can help you maximize your credit prospects, get the best deals on loans, understand the nuances of this business and manage your credit.

Though you could clear your doubts on the institutions' official sites too, but there you would get solutions that the creditors, credit reporting agencies, and collection agencies would want you to believe.

To participate in a credit forum, all you have to do is register with them. This you can do at no cost. Once you do, you can join the various discussions on diverse topics, according to your interest and requirement. One of the discussions generally is credit repair. This relates to matters like repairing items on your report card. There is also a credit cards forum. This has discussions on various topics like credit cards, their rates, terms, special offers and balance relocate strategies.

There is a mortgage forum, which has questions and answers related to home loans, real estate and investing. Then there is a car and student loan forum, which has pointers on car loans and financial assistance for higher education. You can also join the money management and bankruptcy forum. This has topics on money management, debt management, saving and investment for you.

Joining a credit forum which provides many advantages. One is that from where you gain a lot of information after things you wanted and things you would have never thought of. Members can help you find a way to long standing problems and even make you aware of issues that you did not know. You may disagree that you can get this kind of information from books also. This is where the second advantage comes in. Forums are interactive. This makes them even more helpful and fun. You can ask questions the moment you do not understand anything, saving your time and energy. Another great benefit is that you make tons of good contacts through these forums. You can even meet managing directors of big companies here.

This great service is available to you 24x7 and free of cost. So hurry and join a credit forum and forget your credit worries today.

If i can file a reverse charge how do i go about it? thanks any help will be greatly appreciated=) Best answer for Can i file for a visa credit card reverse charges?:

Call the number on the back of your card IMMEDIATELY and find out. The worst they will tell you is no. But just tell them that they people told you that you won something. But why did you give them a credit card number? They said it was free, right? The fault is on you then.

Answer by samantha b
Id go to citizens advice and inform your bank incase by chance other charges can be taken without your authorisation

Answer by Tiddies M
you can dispute anything. What they will probably do is close your current credit card and send you a new one with a new account number on it. Just call them and let them know you realized that there is an unauthorized charge on your account. That's it...

Answer by tym v
you have to file a dispute with your card holder and they will investigate and if found that you were scammed then you can usually get your money back.

Answer by starrfyrre
You should call the credit card company and report the charge as a fraud by the company that charged your card. Tell them you are disputing the charge. Even though the charge was two months ago, you can tell them you just found out about the bogus "contest win". If they value your business, they will remove the charge from your account. Then report the company to the Better Business Bureau in your state.

Answer by Dogchic
You can't reverse the charge but you can and should file a claim for business fraud. Look on the back of your bill (in small print) on how to go about it. Go get them! Best of luck!

yes

If they charged you more then you agreed to or they didn't live up to their end of the bargain as far as what services or products you received then you can most likely contest it as long as it's within 60 days of your statement date that the charges appeared on. Call the phone number on the back of your credit card to really find out for sure.

Answer by Alessandra
Talk to you credit card company about reversing the charges. Go to the police with everything you have and file a report. Look up the Better Business Bureau in your area on line and report the company. This happens a lot more often than what most people think and it sucks. In the end you should be able to get your money back. Good luck!

All you can do is call VISA and ask about it. But if you gave them your full credit card number, including the 3 digit number on the back, they will just run it again. You really need to get a new card with a different number no matter what happens when you call. You should also contact the radio station and report it was a fraud, and see if they are doing anything about it, and also contact the attorney generals office in your state to make a complaint.

Answer by SGT V
Contact the issuing financial institution. Most fraudulent charges can be disputed even if time has elapsed. Do it now. Contact Customer Service (the toll free number on the back of the card). Give them the name of the company, amount and date of transaction and they can look into it. Normally they will "charge back" the amount to whomever made the initial charge. People, if it is "free" it costs you nothing. Otherwise I have some money in a Nigerian bank that I.... If the fraud was perpetrated on the radio than you can contact the Federal Communications Commission who have oversight over radio/TV stations and other forms of media including the internet. Also file a complaint with your state's Attorney General and Consumer Protection people. Simple rule... "if it sounds too good to be true.... IT IS"!!!!!!
