A credit bureau is the agency that collects information on individual consumers for various different uses. It collects this information from a number of different sources and from providers of such information regarding credit histories of various individuals.

This basically helps creditors assess that credit worthiness of their debtors, and also their ability and willingness to pay back debt. This has a major effect on the interest rate charge and the various other terms of the loan. The interest charged is not the same for every person. In most, if not all, developed economies, such credit bureaus are common

Understanding price discrimination

A phenomenon know as price discrimination is followed, were a person with a better credit rating is charged lesser interest and a person with a higher credit rating is charged a greater interest.

There are a number of different parties involved in the card transaction process. Primarily the holder is main party, since he is the consumer.

Then there's the issuer, or the bank who issued the card to the user. The merchant is next major party involved since they are the ones who accept the card and provide the required good or service. Then there is the acquiring bank or the merchant's bank.

It is this bank that accepts payments for the product and service for the merchant. In some cases an affinity partner is also involved in such transactions. These are institutions that in a way sponsor issuers to attract consumers. These get paid a part of the amount for every card that's issued in their name.

What kinds of credit scores are required to classify your self as a good credit case?

Our eligibility to apply for cards usually depends heavily on our credit history and thus the credit score. But what exactly is this credit score? Since it is of vital importance when applying for cards, understanding this concept is vital too. In essence, the credit history of each debtor is recorded by certain credit history agencies, which keeps a track whether the debts have been repaid, and if repaid on time. This payment record ascertains whether you have a good credit score or a bad one. In USA these scores usually range between 300 and 800, where scores above 650 are considered to be good.

Never overlook your credit history. It will haunt you for a long time to come if you do

If you wish to apply for a card, or take any loan, the financial institution will definitely check your credit history before going ahead with the process. Hence if you have a bad credit history, you will surely be in a disadvantaged position when it comes to a lot of things. For example, it might result in non-approval of loan applications. It also reduces your chances of getting apartments on rent, as landowners will be discouraged. Also if you need a loan you might have to deposit extra money as security, to compensate for your bad credit track record. More Credit Cards Are Complex Instruments Topics

Question by 54: Would You Guys Be Less Hostile Towards Rap If..................? 1. Us rap fans admitted that it takes WAY less talent than rock? 2. We admitted that other music is the foundation of rap and gave the proper respect and credit to the music we sample? 3. We admitted that the actual rapping aspect itself is not music (but we still like it anyway)? 4. We admitted that A LOT (not all) rap contains objectionable subject matter. 5. We admitted that playing instruments takes MUCH more talent than rapping. If you realized we are aware of all this (which I am) would you guys be less hostile towards us liking rap as our favorite genre of music? R&P 2: Since I am in the rock section: Who do you like better - Joe Satriani or Steve Vai? Best answer for Would You Guys Be Less Hostile Towards Rap If..................?:

Answer by Dr. Amazing
I like rap, Im a musician and i have actually played Instruments on some rap stuff. I see talent in it. But typically yes other genres do have more talent. But that's not to say that rappers arnt talented. Some in my opinion are more talented than rockers and other genres. A big part of making music is song writing. And some artist in the rap world have that down, or have people doing a great job for them. Good question though. And personally i don't care for Joe Satriani or Steve Vai. But Steve Vai is clearly a better player. More well rounded and have an overall better game. Joe's rhythm isn't as tight as Steve's. But Joe's got his soloing down. Steve's got everything down. Just not what im into.

I am a confessed Thrash Metal fan and wil probably die one too.....but when Anthrax hit it off with Public Enemy....now your talkin......give it a listen......

Answer by Skyfather
I just simply don't care for rap. While I think everyone should be able to listen to what they like, My main issue with rap is how negative it is! Not all of it is, I will say that, I don't mean to make a blanket statement. In the end, everyone should listen to what they like, just if it's something really against mainstream music (Like rap, polka's, etc), don't go playing it so loud that in Los Angeles three towns over thinks it's a earthquake. No music is good at that volume (Even rock, pop, etc)

Answer by soonappy
1-5, Yes Steve Vai

In response to your original question...no, we won't. It still sucks no matter what you realize or admit. Your understanding of a lack of talent does not make up for the inability to sound at least good. Rap can never instill the sense of epicness rock and metal can. Rap can not be considered music, NO EXCEPTIONS.

I only enjoy Old School, because I can't listen to men dropping racial slurs like it's a joke. Also, their attitudes towards women are shameful. I love rap music that is fun and respectful. I'm not "hostile", just particular about what I enjoy. I could listen to 80's rap every day!

Answer by Pyar
I've never been hostile to rap . I just don't like it . But that doesn't mean you shouldn't like it.

Answer by eric
yes i would be less ''hostile'' ;P i dont like rap one bit but i also dont really care. people can listen to whatever they want, as long as they dont let the ''objectionable subject matter'' seriously influence their lives (crime, that kind of stuff) And I cant say I hate it when it gets blared at a intersection kuz sometimes at a red light I just really dont want to turn down my trance. ya, trance. Thats what I listen to and I love it.

Answer by mick
everything you said is true, but the answer is still no.Steve Vai

1-Disagree 2-I do admit that 3-Why Not singing or speaking it's all vocal control 4-Hard to Disagree (Shit Happens but Fecal Matters) 5-Yes but Production and DJing takes talent too. A lot of groups have fairly ordinary singers fronting them. Never listened to either heaps I hear they are both reputable. I recall the cover to Surfing with the Alien was quite groovy back in the day(LOL)

I'm not hostile to all rap, I hate it when there's a lot of swearing and dissing women. I know some of the dissing has stopped. But is it necessary to have every second word the f word? I actually like Cyprus Hill and Eminem and some others my 17 year old listens to. But I can't take all the swearing. We listened to people like Alice Cooper and Gun's and Roses. Loved that music. I still lesten to G&R. And there is some talent in it. They have to come up with the stuff.Use the imagination. And a lot of the thing that are said actually make sense. I like both Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, I also like Michael Jackson, Reggae, Classical, Mozart not 50's and 60's classical, funk, blues, most pop, hip hop, folk, or anything that sounds really good to my ear or dance to.
